Just mere weeks of upgrading to a Nikon D90, I took it out to the desert. Things were going so well until I decided to get closer to the rocky outcrop to explore. I fell into a dry river bed.

Luckily a friend was out with me and we patched up my left shin from the combination of our mini first aid kits. I continued to shoot and did get more material. After all, there wasn’t a gaping wound and I was still able to walk.

However some five hours later, I did require minor medical attention to get a proper patch up job. And to this day, I have a small scar from the fall.
