Although it has been some time since the skull has been part of a living whale, life still thrives within it.

Cranial Drop

Moss growing on a vertical side of the whale skull. At this scale, it seems as if it were vegetation clinging to the side of a limestone cliff.

Bone Fragment

This is moss that is growing on a southern right whale skull. The white object that is in amongst the moss is part of the skull.

Lights in the Sky

Went out shooting in Fremantle near the Maritime Museum. Try as I might, I haven’t been able to take one photo of the building that I’ve ever liked. Though at least this time I have come away with one image. I’ll revisit the set of images I do have later and maybe one will catch my eye before I send them for a one way trip into the oblivion.
